.Great Inspirations Galore in Ranthambore,Rajasthan,India
In Rajasthan, on the border of Ranthambore National Park, lies an encampment of 10 canvas tents that make up the Aman-i-Khás resort.
The tents are permanent structures, with curtains partitioning the bedroom, bathroom, and living areas...

Ceiling fans and airconditioning cooling the rooms-no roughing it here.the lay outs are pretty smart, with a central daybed in the middle of the canopy,a bed to one side,a bathroom next door, and a dressing area to the other side, all sectioned off by cotton screens. A row of screened windows surrounds the top of the tent, letting in the daylight. These tents dont come cheap.Rates are listed as $875 anight for your own personal hideaway in this remote natural reserve.A little out of our budget, but great inspiration nonetheless.
